1. Can you tell us about the film you are currently working on?
“A School Paper” is about teenage boy Greg, and his trouble starting life in a new high school. His life at home is terrible with a new step dad, and all he wants is his childhood back. He begins to get bullied at school, and is lost without hope. Then, Greg meets my character, Sarah. They become immediate friends. But towards the end, the unexpected happens, and things take a turn for the worst.

2. What is your character like and do you have any similarities to her?
I’d like to think Sarah and I are really alike, but not always. Shes a very kind hearted girl who understands people. Shes never quick to judge, and I love that about her. She sees people for their good, not their bad. I have been in many situations when I ask myself “What would Sarah do?”. Since playing her in this movie, she has definitely taught me how to be a better person to everyone. Im not always as sweet and optimistic as Sarah is, but we are both definitely determined people. We don’t let people push us around, which is a really good trait to have. Sarah is just such a fun role to play, and I think people will learn a lot from her.

3. Do you have a favorite memory from shooting or scene you filmed?
Oh gosh, yes. Our cast and crew is one huge family. We are always messing around with eachother on set. Its great to work with people who you love so much, you make memories. And trust me, when you are with them 10+ hours a day, its hard not to love them. We definitely have a lot of good times together. My castmate Dylan, who plays Tim, and I have gotten super close, which is awesome. He’s like the older brother I have always wanted. Whenever we are on set waiting for a scene we aren’t in to wrap, we are always making handshakes or running around and exploring the school we film in. Our awesome assistant producer is an amazing cook, too, so we are eating 95% of time while on set. Its just so much fun.

4. What do you hope people take away from the film?
Im hoping people love “A School Paper”, but I am hoping they learn from it even more. Its such a powerful movie with a really strong message. Teen bullying and depression is unfortunately such a huge issue nowadays, and everyone has either been a victim or a suspect of it at one point. I hope kids and adults can watch it and think “Wow, bullying really needs to stop.” I’ve seen so many emotional movies when I walk out of the theatre afterwards and am just speechless and filled with awe. Im really hoping that is how people will look at our film.

5. Are you working on any other projects at the moment?
Lately I have been so amazingly busy auditioning and auditioning and auditioning. I am actually spending a lot of time in Los Angeles this summer for work and meeting with a few people down there for my acting career. I am super stoked to get back on set soon! Keep a look out for me.

6. Where can people find you on social media websites?
Absolutely. My Facebook and Instagram are just Amanda Buhs, and my Twitter is Amanda_Buhs. You can also watch my videos on Youtube on my AmandaBuhsActing channel!

7. What do you hope to accomplish in 2015?
2015 is going to be a huge year for me. Ill be really busy on set and with interviews, but when I am not, I am looking forward to relaxing with family. My one goal for this year is to just keep doing what I love- and that is acting. There is nothing better than doing what you love everyday, and having fun while doing it. I just want to stay happy, healthy, and of course, on camera! I also hope to start working on films with genres I havent explored just yet. Horror would be pretty cool.

8. Is there anything you want to say to your fans?
Yes. Thank you guys so so so much. I cannot thank you enough. I am so happy and blessed to know that i have such supporting people in my life cheering me on. I really hope you love “A School Paper” and I cannot wait to share new things with you as I grow as an actress and as a person. You lovely people make me smile every single day, and without you, I would be nothing. Keep being beautiful.
