1. How did you get your start in acting?

I started acting when I was 7 years old. I took part in this off Broadway theater program called “Brooklyn Heights Players”. The way I became part of their company is a bit untraditional haha. I ran onstage during their performance of “The Hobbit”. My mother ran up and had to pull me off. Needless to say I was more than eager to start my acting career. Despite my unconventional play watching etiquette, the director of that show approached me and my mother after the performance and asked if I wanted to be a part of the company. I’ve been acting and training ever since.

2. What’s your favorite part about it?

As cliche as it sounds, I love the way it makes me feel. When I’m on stage I have a feeling of security. Actually, scratch that. There is nothing secure about acting, it’s one of the most vulnerable experiences I could go through, but I love every second of it. I love getting pushed to my limits and immersing myself in this mindset where all of my guards are down. It’s refreshing. The second I step on set or on stage, I know its where I’m supposed to be. That’s what I’m meant to do, and I feel overwhelmingly grateful every single time I perform.

3. Can you tell us about your characters in the film?
I play the role of Kelly. She works at the deli with Tommy Glass (played by Jamie Dolan) She’s a sweetheart. She’s so innocent and eager to work and her character is so full of life. Even when her life gets a bit messy, she still manages to stay strong and remain positive through it all, all very commendable qualities in a person.

4. What was your favorite scene to film?

Oh dear, this is a tough one. The whole project was a pleasure to film. The cast and crew all became very close. It’s the best feeling to go to work everyday, only to work with people you love and laugh with pretty much 100% of the time. There was never a dull moment on set.

My favorite scenes to film though, are the ones that challenge me the most. The dramatic heartbreaking scenes, the scenes that are the hardest to film are the ones that I’m proudest of.

5. What can fans expect to see from the movie?

Fans can expect to see a truly heartwarming story. The film is super real and down to earth, so I think we can really identify with the audience. We have an incredible cast and crew that are doing a wonderful job with bringing this story to life. There are plenty of surprising plot twists so we will really be keeping the fans on their toes with this one.

6. Do you have any other upcoming projects?

I just finished shooting a project called “Fog City”. It’s a horror film and will be coming out sometime in the spring of 2016.
I’m also working on a project called “Essence”. It’s a web series based on modern day super heroes, it’s going to be a blast to start filming.
