  1. How did you get your start in the music industry?

Greg: Pretty much started with my friends. I joined up a band with my cousin and friends when I knew how to play guitar we’ll enough.

Hope: I used to try and mimic my dad’s guitar playing when I was really young. That was really my first taste of music. It sparked a passion in me at about 3 years old, and I started singing around the same time.

  1. How would you describe your sound?

Hope: We call it anthem rock. We combine both arena rock and electronic elements to create our sound!

Greg: Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.

  1. What makes you different from other bands?

Hope: We really put a lot of time into branding and online content, as well as building our genre up from scratch. Our new EP “Long Live” had a lot of branding behind it, and we really experimented with a lot of those electronic elements and weird, synth-y sounds to differentiate our sound from the last record. We like to experiment, but we also like to create big, powerhouse anthems.

Greg: I mean aside from all that stuff, we are actually people who are sure that we want to do this with are lives, the honest way. We don’t want to do weird shit. We want to play music and travel and meet friends. Grinds me gears when folks are in this for the wrong reasons. Oh and me and Hope are also bonafide homies.

  1. What can you tell us about your upcoming tour, “The Oasis Tour”?

Hope: This is the first time our set will be all our own tracks. We chose to not do a cover on this tour, so we can really show the audience who VISTA is. We’re going to be heavily promoting our latest record, “Long Live,” but we’re also throwing in some throwbacks, which we didn’t really touch on during our last tour!

  1. How will this tour be different from others that you’ve done in the past?

Hope: This time, we’re heading out to the Midwest, so that’s going to be the main difference! We really wanted to get out into some different markets and hit up some cities we’ve never been to before. There’s definitely a bit of nervousness that comes with hitting new territories, but I think we’re gonna have a killer time!

Greg: Yeah I agree, It can be nerve racking but I think we just gotta go into it with a good mindset. You gotta gig!

  1. What cities will you be traveling to?

VISTA: New cities we’re hitting are Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Chicago, Iowa City, St. Louis, and Orlando. We’re returning to Long Island, NYC, New Jersey, Nashville, and Atlanta!

  1. When and where can fans by tickets?

VISTA: We’re still waiting on a few ticket links, but tickets can be purchased through ou website, www.vistaband.co, or on our Bandsintown, where people can track our tour as well. www.bandsintown.com/vista

  1. Do you have any other upcoming projects?
