1. How did you get started in the entertainment industry?
I moved out to Los Angeles about 6 years ago with nothing but a dream and ended up being cast in a short film called “Shifter” shortly after arriving. The Hallivis Brother (Diego and Julio) and I quickly became close friends and frequent collaborators and I began making connections and growing my resume from there on out.
2. What was your first big project?
My first feature film was a sci-fi/time travel filmed called “Curvature” but I gained “real” traction about a year after shooting this when I was cast in Ralph Fiennes film , “The White Crow” which ended up premiering at TIFF.
3. We know you’re currently in Spain. Can you tell us a little bit about what you’re working on?
I can’t say much but the film is currently titled “American Carnage” directed by Diego Hallivis and is an extremely timely political thriller. It will certain touch on a lot of hot button issues in our current political climate. Really excited to see how it turns out and having a blast shooting in Spain.
4. What has been your favorite part about Spain? Are you doing any sightseeing?
The people and food here are incredible. Everyone has been so welcoming and friendly to me and the whole cast – it has been an awesome experience. And all the amazing tapas everywhere – the best!
5. What has been your favorite city to work in for a project?
I shot a film called that just came out called “Trespassers” at a gorgeous mansion in Malibu. You really can’t beat shooting close to home and getting to work in paradise for a month was pretty amazing.
6. Do you have any other upcoming projects? What do you currently have out?
“Trespassers” just came out in theatres and Itunes last week and will be on a streaming platform within the next month or so. Later this year, I have Farming coming out in October, Last Moment of Clarity and Shookum Hills will also be coming out late 2019. Lastly, I just wrapped a film called “Gateway” that will be submitted to Sundance so fingers crossed.
7. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I have a 22 month old son so every second that I am not working… my wife and I are enjoying watching him grow and experiencing all the amazingness that comes with it.
8. What is your dream role?
Would love to star in an action film. I really enjoy physical acting so getting to “save the world” on screen would be a pretty cool role.
