1. How did you come up with the title “Space Between Words On A Page” for your latest EP?
The inspiration behind the EP name came to me when I watched “Her” for the first time. It stems from the following scene in the movie: “It’s like I’m reading a book… and it’s a book I deeply love. But I’m reading it slowly now. So the words are really far apart and the spaces between the words are almost infinite. I can still feel you… and the words of our story… …but it’s in this endless space between the words that I’m finding myself now. It’s a place that’s not of the physical world. It’s where everything else is that I didn’t even know existed. I love you so much. But this is where I am now. And this who I am now. And I need you to let me go. As much as I want to, I can’t live your book any more.” I was trying to decide on a name that truly embodied the EP for a few months and nothing seemed right. Then I saw this scene and it truly hit every emotion that is embodied in each song. True love, heartbreak, finding yourself, fantasies, growing into yourself. These are all elements found in this EP and hearing this quote inspired the name behind my EP: Space Between Words on a Page
2. How would you describe your sound on this EP?
I’d say this EP has an Alt Pop type of sound.
3. How does this sound differ from some of your previous projects?
I’ve never been a solo artist or been in a pop band so all of this is really new to me. I’ve been in metal, rock, and pop punk bands my whole life so going solo was a real change for me!
4. What is your favorite song off the EP?
My favorite song off this EP is “Life.”
5. Will you be doing any touring to promote the EP?
I will not be doing any touring but I plan to play a few shows around the Boston/ Worcester MA area!
6. Do you have a full length album in the works as well?
I do have more music in the works. I have not decided whether it will be an album or some other bodies of work, but new music is on it’s way!
