The latest news and interviews about Hollywood's rising stars

1. Who/what inspired you to start in the entertainment industry?

My love for the stage through dancing since I was a little kid brought me to Hugh Jackman who has been an idol of mine ever since. He continues to amaze me with his work.

2. If you can remember, what was running through your mind and your body the day of your first audition?

All I can remember is being so petrified but excited at the same time. All these negative thoughts would run through my head thinking of the worst possible outcomes and half of them could not have possibly happened. But it turns out the casting directors and everyone involved is so nice and always try to make you as comfortable as possible.

3. What was your reaction when you booked your first part? What was the role?

My first role was a short film called “Bodies of Water” I was the main characters younger self. I was honestly quite surprised given that it was my first audition, but I was also relieved and so excited. I ended up meeting some really great people on set, had a great time filming and learnt so much.

4. What can you tell us about the upcoming films your working on?

I am working on two films at the moment, “Jiva” and “Bloodline”. Without giving too much away about Jiva the ideas of past, future, technology, breakthrough and war are brought together to create an incredible film. Bloodline however is an insane film in which I play the daughter of a main character holding a lot of power. Filming these have been so much fun it is amazing seeing these films come together.

5. Which film genre do you prefer to work on? Why?

I love comedies, they are in my opinion the most fun genre to be a part of. You have great chemistry with your partner, one minute you’re happy the next you’re downright sassy. And your goal is to make people happy and laugh which is what I love because the feeling of watching a show and laughing my head off uncontrollably is really great.

6. What is the biggest thing you’ve learned throughout your career so far?

Acting is about taking risks, casting directors like risk takers as it shows that point of difference making them more likely to remember you. Another thing I have learnt is don’t practise a script one way because it creates a habit making it harder to change it up in the audition. This is because in your brain you have set a pattern and it will be really hard to break it if they ask you to play it differently this includes playing off other actors keeping the flow and chemistry.

7. What is your dream role?

I would love to be part of a series like F.R.I.E.N.D.S it is comedic but there is also drama involved and it would be amazing to be a part of something like that.

8. What are your social media handles?

I have an Instagram account which I use to post photos and updates on.
