Interview With Belle Shouse! (@Belle_Shouse)

- Can you tell us about how you got your start in acting?
I always enjoyed acting out scenes and using my imagination and was young when I knew I wanted to be an actor. Beginning at the age of 10, I spent the next 2 summers studying with a fantastic coach in Dallas working on my craft and auditioning before coming out for pilot season at the age of 12. It was during this time that I booked my first feature film. It takes hard work and dedication and I love it!
- What is your favorite part about acting?
I have so many reasons why I love acting, but my favorite part about acting is being able to do what I love. I enjoy trying new things, travelling, meeting people and exploring characters.
I also like going outside my comfort zone and learning from others.
- Can you tell us about your character on “Project MC²”?
I play Ember Evergreen on the Netflix series Project MC2. Ember is an intelligent botanist who loves plants, animals and all things in nature. She is a sassy southern gal who loves to have fun.
- How are you similar and different than your character?
Well, Ember and I both love nature and animals as well as science. Both Ember and I have southern roots and are confident individuals.
As far as differences, I don’t have a thick southern accent and my wardrobe style isn’t as colorful though I love her flower flare.
- What is it like being a part of the Awesomeness TV family?
Awesome 🙂
- Do you have any other upcoming projects?
I’m currently working on Project MC2 and I look forward to filming season 4 soon.
- What is your favorite halloween costume you’ve ever worn?
My favorite Halloween costume was hands down Napoleon Dynamite complete with a belly bag full of tator-tots and a stick of cherry chapstick… I’ve dressed up before, however, last year was my first time to actually trick or treat mainly because I’m not much a candy person.
- What is your favorite candy?
I like salty better than sweet but I do love bubble gum!
- What is your favorite horror movie?
Havenhurst of course! It was so thrilling to be part of a film that was based on a true story. I love the movie magic that goes into horror films, I have a whole new respect for these types of movies.
