How did you get your start in the entertainment industry?

I’ve always wanted to be an actor! I begged my parents to put me in acting class when I was a kid. When I was 16 years old I finally got my first opportunity at a place called Kids on Camera in San Francisco. About 2 months later, I booked my first paying job and I’ve been making a living in entertainment ever since!

Can you tell us about your role on the Disney XD series “Star vs. the Forces of Evil”?  Can you tell us about your character on the show?

I voice a beautiful little cinnamon roll named Marco Diaz. He’s a misunderstood bad boy who’s life changes forever when a magical Princess from another dimension, Star Butterfly, moves into his house. He and Star become fast friends and then a bunch of crazy stuff goes down and nothing will ever be the same. You know… typical kid show stuff! Hahah!

Do you prefer voice acting or on-camera acting?

I love everything! I’ve been so fortunate to have had many great experiences both on-camera and behind the mic. It’s all so fun… and I love fun.

What is it like getting to work alongside Eden Sher?

She’s the absolute best. We have so much fun together. Most of our episodes are actually recorded separately, so whenever we get a chance to hang out or work together there’s always SO much laughing.

How is this project different than those that you’ve worked on in the past?

I think this project specifically is different than others I’ve worked on because of the fan base! We have the best fans! Not just because of how they interact with us on the show, but also how they interact with each other. I’ve seen so many friendships begin because of the show and I love that.

Do you have any other upcoming projects?

New episodes of Star Vs. are coming soon and I’ll be voice a bunch of characters in the new Far Cry 5. And, of course there’s a whole laundry list of things I’m not yet able to talk about. But, stay tuned! Fun stuff coming.
