  1. How did you get your start in the entertainment industry?

Since the age of five, I have been involved in some form of performance such as theater, singing, competitive dance, piano, and even performing in a Rock Band. At the age of nine, I auditioned for a professional acting class and was accepted.  I loved the class and everything about acting so I decided that I wanted to become a professional actress.  I was signed by an agent at the age of ten and later got a manager and everything took off from there.

  1. What was it like getting to work on Nickelodeon’s Alex & Me?

Working on “Alex and Me” is something I’ll never forget. I filmed for about a month in New Orleans, so I got incredibly close with the cast and director.  Every day on set was so much fun, especially playing soccer with the cast. The movie has such a great story and it was so much fun filming with other actors who quickly became good friends.

  1. What is the movie about?

“Alex and Me” is about a girl who loves soccer and the US woman’s soccer player, Alex Morgan. One day when she hits her head, Alex Morgan appears and helps train her.

  1. What was your favorite scene to film?

A scene that stands out to me is a scene that we had to film at a real high school. We couldn’t disrupt the students at the school so every time the bell rang for passing period, the cast and crew had to hide in 3 or 4 classrooms that were empty until passing period was over.  I loved filming this scene because it was really fun to run and hide in the classrooms, so the students wouldn’t see that a movie was being filmed at their school.

  1. What are some of your other favorite Nickelodeon movies?

My favorite Nickelodeon movie is Drake and Josh Go Hollywood. My brother and I used to love watching Drake and Josh so it’s definitely our favorite.

  1. Do you prefer to work on television or film projects?

I love working on both. I usually work on television projects but if I had to choose, I would say film projects because I usually film all at once. It’s easier for me as a student – I don’t miss as much school, instead of random days or weeks scattered over a period of time. Also, it’s nice to go to movie premieres.

  1. Are you working on anything else you’d like to share with us?

There are always new and exciting auditions and opportunities coming my way.  I am very excited about this month in particular because the HBO Series, Sharp Objects premieres on July 8th.  I will be attending the premiere of “Alex and Me” on May 31st and a short film that I was the Lead in called Broken will be completed this month and circulated at film festivals soon.

  1. Do you have any fun summer plans?

Yes! I am going to Miami to visit my sister in college and I am also going to a ranch in Wyoming with my family and a couple of my friends.

  1. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

On the weekends, I love to have lunch with my friends and then go see a movie or maybe even go roller skating. I enjoy doing anything with my friends!
