The latest news and interviews about Hollywood's rising stars

1. What was your reaction when you found out you booked “Bronx SIU”?

At first I didn’t know what to think about it because I had not heard much about it other than when I submitted to it. When I got the call sheet and saw who was the catch and which role I was playing I felt blessed.

2. What is the show about?

The show follows the SIU unit while they fight crime and shows that being a cop isn’t always black and white. There are lots of grey when it comes to enforcing the law some of which complicate the lives of officers even when they’re off duty.

3. How is this project different from others that you’ve worked on in the past?

This project is different because it shows a lot of depth to the officers in their personal lives. I’ve played cops before but never on an episodic so that’s definitely different.

4. What is your dream role?

My dream role would be to one day have my own sitcom. Not like today’s sitcoms but like the multi camera style of those from back in the day.

5. Who inspires you?

I’d say Samuel L Jackson, Denzel Washington, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Bernie MAC and Dave Chappell as far as actors and comedians. Directors and Producers wise, Spike Lee, John Singleton, Malcom Lee, Will Packer, Ice Cube, Mike Mayhall and Dan Garcia.

6. Do you have any other upcoming projects you’d like to share with us?

The next project I have coming out is titled “Untold Genius.” I don’t know when it’s coming out, but I’ll keep you posted.

7. What are your social handles?
