The latest news and interviews about Hollywood's rising stars

1. How did you get your start in the entertainment industry?

I got my start in the entertainment industry acting in a National Commercial for Doodle Art at the age of 5. Then more Commercials followed after that for national companies such as Belk Department Stores, and Pandora Radio. Along the way I modeled in Ads for local companies in Georgia, Florida and California. Then ended up working on set in the likes of Chloe Grace Moretz, who played a lead role in the Sony Pictures feature film “The 5th Wave”.

2. What was your first big project?

My first big project and one of my favorites is called “Tell You Show You”. I starred in and produced the Comedy series with my good friend and comedian Elizabeth Vernon. The show is about two girls who dream of becoming News Anchors. It starts off with us creating our own news team but on a low budget scale. As just two girls, we face many real world challenges as we try to make it big in the News Industry. It never really felt like work, to me it was fun. We recieved a great response from others saying that the goofy characters we created really make the show unpredictable and unique. What many do not know… is that everything we did was improvised. We got to travel to New York to film as well as Los Angeles.

3. Who are your inspirations?

One of my inspirations is Lucille Ball. I admire how brave she is in her comedy and I am a sucker for those old sitcoms. Another one of my inspirations is Courtney Cox. She is from my hometown of Birmingham, AL. and starred in one of the greatest sitcoms of all time, “Friends”. I look up to actresses who also produce and create their own shows.

4. What is your dream role?

My dream role would be to star in an action pack, adventure, comedy Film in the likes of “Jumanji” or a Comedy-Drama (Dramedy) TV sitcom. A similar role Annie Murphy plays in the show “Schitt’s Creek”.

5. What kinds of roles do you typically audition for?

I typically Audition for roles that are “Girl next door” but I am naturally a little quirky so I favor more towards roles that resemble Aubrey Plaza, the character “Jess” from “New Girl” or “Kimmy” from “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”.

6. Do you have any specific genre you focus on?

Overall, I tend to veer more towards comedies that are mixed with real life situations. A type of Comedy that is mixed with Action or Drama.

7. What projects have you starred in so far?

I have starred in “Tell You Show You”, and the series “Do Not Ask”. The films “Ketchup”, and “48 hours”. A musical parody called “The Greatest Pop Musical of La La Land” and starred in music videos for Bizzar and Pxtnx.

8. Do you have any other upcoming projects?

I have an upcoming series that I have created and produced called. “Do Not Ask” I star as “Emma” who is apart of the Peterson family, an average traditional family with a secret past. As the secrets unravel you piece together how the episodes are all connected. The message is that even though our worlds may change that we are not so different from each other as people in the world.

Another project I have coming up is one that is close to my heart. On the side of film and tv, I hand make/sell glass jewelry pieces from recycled glass to help support those fighting against epilepsy. The organization is called “Hidden Gems.” They are all one of a kind and I am excited to be releasing my first collection soon!
