We recently had the amazing opportunity to chat with the lovely Bria Wilson! Wilson talked about her musical influences, upcoming projects,  holiday traditions, and more!

1. How would you describe your sound?

I think my sound can be described as your usual pop-country with a bit of an edge to it.  I take a lot of pride in my music and I had a lot of help getting me started in learning the ropes of writing music and recording it.

2. Who are your musical influences?

One of my musical influences has always been Miranda Lambert.  I love the edge she puts in her music.  Another would have to be Branley Gilbert, I love the songs he writes/preforms as they are completely relatable and most times it close to home.  I also grew up listening to Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks and George Strait!

3. Do you have any upcoming music?

I’m hoping to!  I’ve been working on a few different songs and learning how to play some new instruments.  I like to write music people can relate to, and I always carry a notebook around with me everywhere to jot down ideas!

4. If you could collaborate with another artist, who would it be and why?

I would love to collaborate with Reba McEntire or Blake Sheldon.  They are both amazing artists and a massive dream of mine!  Reba has always come out with amazing music and same with Blake!  I also think I would be able to relate well to a lot of their music.

5. Do you have any holiday traditions?

Every year around Christmas time, my family and I usually have a massive Christmas party where we invite all of our family and friend on or around the 23rd of December.  On Christmas Day, we usually go to my hometown to visit with my Aunty and Uncle and have a big Christmas get together there as well as dinner.
