Interview With Radio Disney DJ Lela Brown! (@MissLelaBrown)
We recently had the chance to chat with the lovely Lela Brown who currently works for Radio Disney. During the interview, Lela talks about getting her start in the entertainment industry, working for Radio Disney, favorite part of the job, and more!

1. How did you get started in the entertainment industry?
When I was 2 years old, I met a talent agent who liked my look. I began modeling and acting along with dancing. I moved to Los Angeles when I turned 7, I met a music producer and after that I started rapping and singing.
2. How did you get involved with Radio Disney?
After I was on America’s Got Talent, I met an executive who recognized me. I had a meeting and started doing special events, which eventually led to my employment at Radio Disney!
3. What is your favorite part about the job?
I love when people call in to Radio Disney and request a song so I can put my own spin on it and air it just for them!
4. Whats the coolest thing you’ve ever done?
I performed at Radio City Music Hall in New York when I was on “America’s Got Talent”, I was only 11 years old!
5. Being a DJ who’s your favorite singer?
I love a lot of different music but some of my favorites are Ty Dolla SIgn, Selena Gomez, SZA, and Khalid.
6. What makes you stand out from other DJ’s?
I’m 15, female and I definitely know what my audience likes to hear 🙂
7. Do you have any upcoming projects?
I’m working with a great production company, doing my own show. I’ll also be releasing a new mixtape this year with about 9 songs on it.
