ZMNY Talks Working With Ray J And More In Exclusive Interview! (@ZMNY_4Real)

We recently had the chance to chat with musician ZMNY about getting his start in the industry, working with Ray J, writing “Promise,” and more.
- How did you get your start in the entertainment industry?
When I was 11 I made my first song with Ray J.
- What was your first big project?
My music song and video with Ray J.
- What is your dream role or project?
To open for A list artists and perform in giant arenas such as the Staples center etc.
- How would you describe your musical sound?
Hip-hop and R&B but I am slowly expanding my range in the genres of music. I am currently taking singing lessons to assist in my goal.
- What do you think sets you apart from other artists?
I am not only a rapper but also a youth ambassador, the voice for the youth . I rap, sing, host, and dance.
- What is your favorite song of yours?
One of my favorite songs is Promise” because it sheds a hopeful light to all the homeless kids out there.
- What do you think the most important parts of a song are?
The most important part of a song is the message, such as a message to create world peace.
- If you could collaborate with another artist, who would it be and why?
I would collab with Drake, French Montana, Chance The Rapper and Billie Eilish because their songs are unique and fun.
- What are your goals for 2018?
To tour around the world for a millennial world peace.
- Do you have any upcoming projects you’d like to share with us?
Yes! I am going to Nigeria this summer to make a music video for “Carbon copy” with Africa’s number one indigenous artist Olamide. Also about the #millennialworldpeace where I will go to different schools to ask the kids about their insights on world issues such as racism, poverty, kidnapping, inequality plus the importance of education and maintaining world peace.
