The latest news and interviews about Hollywood's rising stars

We recently had the chance to chat with singer Dynamite Dylan about his new single “Numbers Up”, working with Jake Paul and Poo Bear, upcoming projects, and more.

Check it out below!

  1. How did you get your start in the music industry?

At 8 years old, I started singing Minecraft parodies and was taking singing lessons. At the time it was more of a hobby than a full-time job.

2. Who are your musical inspirations?

My top three are Ed Sheeran, Deadmau5, and gorillaz

3. What was it like getting to work with Jake Paul on “No Competition?”

It was fun! He’s like a big brother to me so we just had fun!

4. Did he give you any advice to help you navigate the industry?

Jake has helped me a lot in the YouTube space by including me in videos and whatnot, but in the music space Post Malone has really been my guide on this journey.

5. What was the recording process like for your most recent single “Numbers Up?”

Poo Bear and I have been working together since I was 8. We decided to take a week and dedicate ourselves to produce a hype song.

6. What is the song about?

GETTING MY NUMBERS UPPPP!!!

7. How is it different from other music that you’ve released in the past?

“Numbers Up” definitely has a hip-hop style, which is a first for me. I’ve made music like this before but this is the first time releasing anything like this.

8. When and where can fans purchase and/or stream the song?

Right now on any and all platforms 🙂

9. Are you currently working on any other projects you’d like to share with us?

Yes, but you’ll have to wait and see what the next release will be! We have over 50 original songs done.

10. Do you have any fun summer plans?

This summer I’ll be working on new music + lots of gaming!

11. What are your goals for 2018?

To play as many video games as I possibly can and of course, to make more music!

12. What are your social media accounts?

You can find me on all platforms at  @dynamitedylan. My snapchat is @dylandiamond
