1. How did you get your start in the entertainment industry?

I always had a clear idea in mind of where I wanted to be as an entertainer. During high school I was known for organizing prom parties where I performed with my girlband. We were performing pop punk, smashing drum sticks, and slamming guitars. I’ve always been around recording studios, learning music production, music business, and songwriting. After school I moved to London and started working as a model for music videos to pay bills and during a video shoot in a skate park, I met my first manager. He introduced me to the entertainment world in the UK and soon after I got my first song in the charts, called Shooting Stars. That song opened the first doors in America, where I met one of my first mentors, Bob Leone. Honestly, I’ve been working extremely hard and took a lot of risks. I went to America with nothing, slept on the floor of a recording studio, wrote for Katy Perry, did a lot of networking and just believed in myself…I’m not shy to say that I made my own luck…no room for randomness.. just a lot of work.

2. What is your new single “Love On Drugs” about?

“Love on Drugs” talks about all the things that create a distortion of our realities …like love. A powerful chemical electric shock that intoxicates our body. The lyrics says, ”Love is a disease but it doesn’t have a cure”. I look at love almost from a scientific point of view. We typically talk about love as a sort of fairytale, but can you imagine if in reality, love is just a chemical imbalance…a disease? In the story, I’m chained to a poisonous troubled love with a guy, who is lost in life and the only way to keep this love alive is by drinking a poison that keeps our realities distorted.. Seems creepy but it’s actually an interesting mental journey if you think about it.

3. What was the recording process like?

The recording process was pretty fun and lively. We recorded at the Abbey Road Studios and my producer engineer set an interesting set of microphones, which was pretty insane. Geeky details, but one of mics was the one the Beatles recorded with. There was a lot of energy in the room and we recorded three songs in six hours which was intense but adrenaline kept me going. When we recorded Love on Drugs, I decided to change part of the lyrics at the last second.  I didn’t want to create panic in the studio, so with an excuse, I went into the restroom to write down the new parts. Nobody noticed that, apart from the cleaner who found me.

4. Do you have an EP or a full length album in the works?

Yes, I’m writing and producing an album called ‘The Love Show’ . I can’t wait to share this with the world because it is very powerful…both musically and visually.

5. How would you describe your sound?

My sound is a crossover of pop, punk, and hip-hop which falls into the mainstream world. My attitude is punk, always been. I started as a singer and guitarist in a pop punk girlband but I was dancing hip hop at the same time. And I like writing catchy melodies and producing beats with big dynamics. I want songs to sound always different with a lot going on, otherwise I get bored..
