Interview With “Little” Star And Rapper Remarcus Steele! (@VigilanteLom)
1. How did you get your start in the entertainment industry?
Trevor Jackson asked me to be in his movie Sons to the Grave as an extra. After that I was in barbershop 3 and Alvin and the Chipmunks as an extra as well. Soon after I was featured as myself in the Fox hit tv show Star. From there I took the industry by storm.
2. What was the first major project you booked?
The first major role I landed was a super featured student in the movie “Little.” Soon after I was casted as the lead role in an episode of For My Man on Tv One. Both these projects were shot around the same time and I was signed to my first talent agency soon after.
3. How would you describe your musical sound?
My music is very thought provoking and not specific to an genre.
4. Who are some of your favorite artists?
I love the musical genius of Michael Jackson and the business mind of Jay-Z. MJ had such a unique was of using his vocals as both a part of the beat and vocal itself that no other artist will ever be able to immulate. Jay-z and Beyonce have the most inspiring business relationship and both continue to push the envelope on different tactics of how to release music and when.
5. If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Ryan Leslie is my favor producer of all time. I would love to do a full project with his both as a producer and artist. I love the fact that he can play so many instruments and streams his sessions for the world to see. I would love to be apart of the creative visual process and finalize one of the dopest projects ever.
6. Do you have any other upcoming projects?
Yes Im staring in and Co-Executive producing a new animation film called The Littlest Giant. I also have a feature on Fatal Attraction, Homicide Hunters and another on For My Man coming later 2019 and early 2020. I play the role of CJ in the web series Saved in the City and lastly I have a new single dropping called Find Me January 20th, 2020.
